Market landscape
SITA promotes business services, including BPO, as one of its investment sectors and publishes a BPO investor brochure.[1]
RVO lists outsourcing among the sectors of interest for Dutch companies in Suriname.[2]
Suriname is on UTC−3 with no daylight saving. Mobile services are provided by Telesur and Digicel, with 4G coverage and international connectivity by satellite and submarine cable.[3]
Where demand comes from
Dutch-language customer service, back-office and finance processes for Dutch and Belgian clients are the clearest fit; English-language work for the Caribbean and Americas is a second market.
Scale is limited by the size of the labour pool, so Suriname suits specialised, quality-sensitive teams more than very large-volume contact centres.
How we help
- Assess talent availability and wage benchmarks for your service profile.
- Find existing BPO operators, facilities and connectivity providers.
- Coordinate meetings with SITA and potential partners.
Suriname Partners provides commercial facilitation and market intelligence. We do not provide legal, tax, engineering, property-title, investment or procurement-decision advice; where those are needed we help you engage licensed professionals.
