Comport offshore supply base (Commewijne)
Offshore supply base being developed by Commewijne Port Facility N.V. at the estuary of the Suriname and Commewijne rivers, with land for an offshore supply and services zone. Kersten acquired 50% of Comport in 2025.

Comport describes its site as close to the Suriname river fairway and the Atlantic coast, with surrounding land for shore-base expansion and an industrial zone dedicated to offshore supplies and services. In 2025 C. Kersten en Co. acquired 50% of the shares in Commewijne Port Facility N.V.
