Procurement notices published on GOV.SR from July 2026 state that, in February 2026, the Republic of Suriname issued a Social Bond to finance eligible social expenditures and priority social projects. Notices under this framework cover school renovation (phase 1), equipment for school renovation works, school furniture, learning books, hospital digitalization hardware, medical equipment for the Academic Hospital Paramaribo, urea fertiliser and the Reeberg Block 3B housing infrastructure.
