Staatsolie published a Request for Expression of Interest on 25 September 2026 inviting qualified and experienced contractors to prequalify for customs clearance, freight forwarding and inland transportation services supporting Staatsolie and its subsidiaries.[1]

Direct from source

Contractors may submit for the full scope if they demonstrate relevant capability, experience, and operational and financial capacity. The RFEoI will establish a shortlist; only respondents that meet all criteria will be invited to the Invitation to Bid, and non-participants will not be considered. Submission deadline: 16 October 2026, 15:00 Suriname time.[1]

Analysis

Logistics is one of the categories where offshore activity adds demand on top of Staatsolie's own operations. Firms without a local customs licence or fleet will typically need a Surinamese partner to respond credibly.
